Aalok Patwardhan
Welcome to my website. I am a lead research scientist (Computer Vision) at Cartwheel, where I am working on marker-less motion capture for animation; my interest is in human pose estimation from RGB video.
I recently completed my PhD in the Dyson Robotics Lab at Imperial College London, where my research was mainly in distributed multi-robot systems, as well as computer vision for robotics.
Previously I was a signal processing engineer at Cambridge Consultants, working on wireless technologies and embedded systems.
Outside of work I am a private tutor for Maths and Physics for GCSE and A-Levels, and also specialise in Oxbridge admissions tutoring and interview practice. I am a Director of Studies of the Engineering and AI course at Cambridge Programmes, an academic summer school.
